Mr. Fortier has a law degree from Université de Sherbrooke.

PROFILE
Mr. Fortier, a Morency partner and member of the board of directors, is in charge of the labour sector. He acts as an attorney for the majority of Quebec’s school boards and various institutions of the health and social services system. Mr. Fortier has dealt with all facets of industrial relations, including accreditation, the negotiation and application of collective agreements, and complaints lodged under the provisions of the Labour Code, An Act respecting Labour Standards, the Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms and occupational health and safety regulations.

Mr. Fortier practices in the fields of labour law, administrative law, industrial accidents and education law.

PROFESSIONAL AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
Since October 2000, Mr. Fortier has been the chair of the board of directors of Quebec City’s CLSC CHSLD Haute-Ville-des-Rivières (local community health centre).
