PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

Mr. Ménard has a law degree from the University of Ottawa (1990). He has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 1991.

PROFILE

A partner and a member of the board. Mr. Ménard practices mainly in construction law and calls for tenders and has done so since the beginning of his career. He had had the opportunity to defend the interests of our clients in front of all of the judicial authorities and several administrative authorities. More particularly, Mr. Ménard gained convincing victories in important files such as the Highlight Road marking Inc. affair and SOGEP v. Société des établissements de plein air du Québec (SEPAQ). During his career, Mr. Ménard represented all of the participants of a building site, from the employer to the general entrepreneurs and the subcontractors by way of the professionals and the developers. This diversified experience allows him to have a complete vision of the dynamics of this vastindustry.

 

In 2004-2005, Mr. Ménard participated actively as a prosecutor for the construction management team with regards to the commission of inquiry on the excessive costs and  deadlines of the construction site of the company Papiers Gaspésia of Chandler.

 

Also, Mr. Ménard is regularly invited to pronounce conferences on news headlines with regard to the diverse legal aspects of the world of construction:
