PROFILE
Mr. Richard has been a member of the Barreau du Québec (Quebec bar association) since 1984 and is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association. In his practice, he mainly focuses on the area of commercial and corporate law. He represents a variety of financial institutions and risk capital companies, and a number of the latter have also drawn on his expertise by inviting him as a guest speaker. Mr. Richard also works in the area of intellectual property and new information technologies, acting as a trademark agent. In addition, part of his practice is oriented toward international law since Mr. Richard advises foreign investors doing business in Quebec. Therefore his experience enables him to advise clients concerning the planning and organization of all their corporate affairs.

PROFESSIONAL AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
Mr. Richard is among a group of experts in international mobility and a member of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, the French Chamber of Commerce of Montreal and the Comité ERAI (Entreprise Rhône-Alpes international committee).
